Between the Words

Between the Words

Between the Words is Nicholas Rougeux's exploration of visual rhythm of punctuation of well-known literary works. All numbers, letters, spaces and line breaks were removed from entire texts of classic stories like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Moby Dick and Pride and Prejudice - leaving only the punctuation in one continuous line of symbols in the order they appear in the texts. The remaining punctuation was arranged in a spiral starting at the top centre with markings for each chapter and classic illustrations at the centre.

All literature used is in the public domain.
